Workshop Description:
School boards and their relationship with each other and their superintendent/charter administrator affect everything about a school system. Research shows a strong relationship between how school boards govern and the likelihood that student achievement is improving. One of the key behaviors of school boards in high achieving systems is monitoring student progress throughout the year. Discover ways your board can do that in a comprehensive and cohesive manner within the proper role of a school board.
